Install

Safe by design
Built around not losing your data
- Nothing is written until you press Apply. Every change is queued and previewed first.
- A stale plan is refused. The disk is re-scanned just before applying, and each step checks its partition again.
- Data first, table last. Moved data is written and verified before the partition table points at it, and the table is backed up first.
What it will not do
- Move the start of the Windows drive (C:) while Windows is running. Its end can still grow and shrink.
- Resize FAT32 or exFAT in place. These can be moved, not resized.
- Move a drive that holds an active page file.
- Edit dynamic disks or Storage Spaces.

FAQ
Questions
Does it run in my browser or on my PC?
On your PC. Partition Studio is a normal Windows program; it just uses your browser as its window, the way a router settings page does. The page only talks to that program on 127.0.0.1, and nothing about your disks leaves your computer.
Can it add free space to my C: drive?
Yes, when the space is after C: on the disk, even with Recovery or other partitions in between — those get moved out of the way. Space before C: would mean moving the start of a running Windows drive, which Windows does not allow.
Why does it need administrator rights?
Locking drives and rewriting the partition table are administrator-only in Windows. Without admin it still opens, so you can look at your disks, plan and simulate.
What if the power goes out during a move?
Unless the move overlaps its old location, the original partition is untouched until the last step. Overlapping moves are flagged in red in the plan; keep laptops plugged in for those. A journal records where the data was so it can be recovered.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC" when I run it.
SmartScreen warns about new downloads that have not built a reputation yet. Check the SHA-256 above matches your file, then choose More info → Run anyway.
